# Getting started Browse Cribs, create an account, and find the main screens ## Cribs, in short {#what-cribs-is} Property listings. Looking is free. Cribs is a marketplace for homes and land. Sellers publish listings. Buyers search, message, and bid. You talk through Cribs instead of exchanging phone numbers on the listing. Looking costs nothing. An account costs nothing. The thing you can pay for is a [package](/pricing) on a listing you publish, so that listing is shown in search. ### Markets and language Search uses the place you pick. Language is a setting; it does not change which country a listing belongs to. Your Liked, messages, and listings stay on the same account. > Note: Sign in once. The same account is used wherever you open Cribs. ### What you pay for Browsing is free. Signing in is free. Publishing uses a listing [package](/pricing). > Careful: Cribs will not email you a link to "unlock" a listing, and nobody from Cribs will ask for a card in a message. If that happens, [report it](/help/docs/troubleshooting). ### This manual This manual is the walkthrough. Chapters follow the product: looking, then buying, then listing, then settings and fixes. A chapter that describes a screen has a screenshot and a numbered key when the image is ready. If you already know the task, use [Common tasks](/help/docs/how-do-i) or Quick answers on [Read the docs](/help/docs). ## Sign in {#your-account} Email and a one-time code. There is no password. ![Your account](your-account) 1. **Your email** Where the code is sent. 2. **Send code** Cribs emails a short code. That is the whole sign-in. 3. **The code field** Type the code from the email. A new send replaces the last code. 4. **Your name** Asked the first time this address is used. You can search and pan the map without an account. You need one for Liked, messages, viewings, bids, and listings of your own. ### One form There is no separate register step. Enter your email, then the code. If Cribs has never seen the address, it asks for your name after the code. - Known address: [Sign in](/sign-in), enter the code, you are in. - New address: enter the code, then your name, and the account exists. - After that, [Settings](/settings) holds language, currency, contact (email and phone, with verification), and identity (name and social security nr). > Note: Cribs does not store a password you invent. The inbox code is how we know the account is yours. ### If the code is missing | Just sent | Check that inbox. Wait a minute before sending again. | | Not in the inbox | Check spam. | | Wrong email | Go back and change it. Nothing has been created yet. | | Still nothing | Wait for the pause between sends, then try once more. | A code is single use. Only the latest one works. ### After you are in The avatar opens your account. Settings is in that menu. Liked, transactions, listings, and your company each have their own page. | Avatar | Name, email, Liked, Transactions, Settings, and Privacy. Listing, bidding, and viewings need a verified email and phone. | | Settings | Language, currency, time zone, contact, and identity. Open [Settings](/settings). | | Sign out | In the account menu. Closing the tab does not sign you out. | ### Close the account That lives under [Privacy](/help/docs/security-and-privacy). You must [withdraw live listings](/help/docs/managing-listings) first, and finish any live auction bids. Closing hides your name, email, phone, and photo. Listings and bids stay on the account. Sign in later with the same email to reopen it. ## Header and menus {#finding-your-way-around} The bar on every page. Search lives in the Properties menu, not in the bar. ![Finding your way around](finding-your-way-around) 1. **Menu** Properties and Agents. On a phone this is the full-screen drawer. 2. **Logo** Home. 3. **Sell a property** Opens the listing guide. 4. **Messages and notifications** Unread threads and the bell for this account. 5. **Your avatar** The account menu. Sign in when you are signed out. The account menu is everything that belongs to you. Search properties is under Properties. ### The bar It is on every page. | Menu | Properties and Agents. | | Logo | Home. | | Sell a property | The listing guide. | | Messages | Threads. Unread counts sit here. | | Notifications | The bell. | | Avatar | Account menu, or Sign in. | ### The two menus | Properties | Search properties, Explore, new development, Trending, market prices, and Buying a property once you are signed in. | | Agents | Agents, agencies, and Promote me to agent if you are not one yet. | | Sell a property | Opens the listing guide. | | My listings | When you are signed in. | | My company | When you have a company. | | Support | Help, tickets, this manual, and the phone number. | Properties is the market. Buying a property in that menu is a short in-app overview; this manual is the walkthrough. The avatar is your account. On a phone the menu is a full screen. ### Language, country, and currency Language changes the words on the site. Profile country is what [purchase rules](/help/docs/buying) use. Display currency is how prices are shown. All three live in [Settings](/settings), and each one is separate. ### Dark and light Cribs follows the device. There is no theme switch on the site. ### If a page looks broken Reload. If it is still wrong, [Something went wrong](/help/docs/troubleshooting) has the next steps. # Finding a property Search, the map, the listing page, and how you get in touch ## Start a search {#searching} Pick a place. Filters come after. ![Searching](searching) 1. **Place** A city or neighbourhood you type, plus optional distance. 2. **Type and sale** Property type, and whether it is fixed price, auction, or soon. 3. **Submit** Opens Explore with those filters on. ### From Search [Search](/search) is the form: place, type, sale mode, price, area, rooms, distance, condition. Submitting it opens Explore. There is no second results page behind it. There is no search field in the header. Open Search properties from the Properties menu. > Note: An empty result is usually a filter, not a missing city. Undo price or type first. [Filters](/help/docs/filters) is that screen. ### What search will not do - Country is a filter you set. Search uses the place you pick. - Listing text is what the seller wrote. - Withdrawn listings stay off search. The page remains if you already have the link. ## Filters {#filters} Each extra control hides listings that fail it. Clear them when the map looks empty. ![Filters](filters) 1. **Type** Flat, house, land, and the rest of the catalog. 2. **Price and area** A range. Empty means any. 3. **Clear** Resets the form. The map follows. ### What counts as a filter Anything other than the place: type, price, living area, rooms, floor, condition, sale mode, new development. Two filters together hide anything that fails either one. ### On the map On Explore, panning and zooming loads listings in the visible area. The cards follow the map. > Tip: If results look thin, clear price, then type. Those two hide the most. Keep the place. ## Map and cards {#explore-and-map} The same listings as a map and as a list. Useful when you do not know the district yet. ![Explore and the map](explore-and-map) 1. **Map** Pins where listings sit. Clusters split as you zoom. 2. **Cards** The same set as a scannable list. 3. **Visible area** Pan or zoom, and the cards follow what the map shows. ### One set, two views [Explore](/explore-properties) is the map plus cards. Click a pin to see its card; click a card and the map finds it. [Trending](/trending-properties) is the same listings ordered by what people have been opening. [Market prices](/help/docs/market-prices) are averages, not a single asking price. > Note: New development is a filter on Explore, not a separate product. Use Explore new development in the Properties menu when that is all you want. ## Open a listing {#a-listing} Photos, price, and the actions on the page. Also what the seller did not put here. ![A listing](a-listing) 1. **The photographs** A slideshow of every photo. Swipe or use the arrows. 2. **What it is** Size, rooms, and place, as the seller entered them. 3. **The numbers** Asking price, and price per m² computed from size so two homes compare fairly. 4. **The heart** Adds it to [Liked](/help/docs/liked). The seller is not notified. 5. **Send a message** Starts a thread without showing your phone number. 6. **Who is selling** The person or agency currently on the listing. ### Photos Photos play as a slideshow on the page. Swipe or use the arrows. View all photos opens every image on its own page. Photos are the strongest signal: four dark interiors and one door usually tell you more than the description. ### The numbers | Price | What is being asked, not what it will sell for. | | Price per m² | Computed, not typed. | | Size and rooms | As entered by the seller. | ### Actions | Send a message | Opens a thread with the people on this listing. See [Messages](/help/docs/messages). | | Share | Copies the link, or uses the phone share sheet. | | The heart | Adds it to [Liked](/help/docs/liked). | | Watch | The eye. Follows price, bids, buyout, and sale type. See [Alerts](/help/docs/notifications). | Report listing is there too. Use it when the page is not a real property honestly described. [Something went wrong](/help/docs/troubleshooting) says what happens next. ### When it is no longer for sale Sold or withdrawn listings stay on the URL and are marked unavailable, with similar listings underneath. The link you saved last month should still make sense. ### What is not on the page - A phone number on the listing itself. Message through Cribs. See [Messages](/help/docs/messages). Agent and company pages can reveal contact they published. - The sold price. You only see the ask. - Cribs verification of the facts. The seller typed the numbers. Ask, and view, before money moves. ## Liked {#liked} Your shortlist. Heart a card or a listing. It follows the account, not the phone. ![Liked](liked) 1. **Heart** On a card or a listing. One tap adds, one tap removes. 2. **The list** Everything you have liked, newest first. You must be signed in. Liked syncs across devices. The seller is not told. Open [Liked](/me/liked) for the full list. > Note: A withdrawn listing stays in Liked until you remove it, marked unavailable, so the saved link is still there. ## Messages {#messages} Write to the people on a listing. Cribs does not put a phone number on the listing page. ![Messages](messages) 1. **Thread** One conversation per listing, with the managers of that listing. 2. **Compose** Plain text. The site does not exchange phone numbers for you. A message from a listing opens that thread. Use the thread; do not ask the other side to move the conversation off Cribs. ### Do not send - Card numbers, passwords, or email codes. - A request to pay off Cribs to unlock a viewing or a contract. - Anything you would not want stored on the thread. > Careful: Cribs staff will not ask for a card in a message. If someone does, do not pay, and [report it](/help/docs/troubleshooting). Open [Messages](/me/messages) for mail written to you. Unread counts sit in the header. A thread you started appears after the other side replies. From is who started the thread. The envelope next to the name shows whether a message is unread or read. Archive a message to hide it for you; the other person sees a collapsed archived row they can open or archive. If that first interest message is archived, Interest sent comes back on the listing. If they replied and you archive that conversation from Messages, Interest sent comes back as well; the seller still has their copy. ## Market prices {#market-prices} Average prices by place and type from official registry figures, plus listing activity on Cribs. Not an appraisal of one home. ![Market prices](market-prices) 1. **Place** Country, then municipality as you go in. 2. **Average** A figure for that place and type, not one asking price. [Market prices](/explore-market) is not a valuation of a specific home. A given street can sit well above or below the place number. It does not show what one flat sold for. Use it to see whether an ask is in the right band, then go and look. ## Agents and agencies {#agents-and-agencies} People and companies who list on Cribs, and how you reach them from here. ![Agents and agencies](agents-and-agencies) 1. **Agent** A person. Their listings, their city, a way to message them. They can let you reveal phone or email if they published those. 2. **Agency** A company page. Name, logo, people, and listings under that firm. [Agents](/agents) are people. [Agencies](/companies) are companies. An agent can list under an agency. An owner can list without either. The page is their public profile, not a certificate. To list as an agent yourself, use [Promote me to agent](/become-agent). Support reviews it. [Agencies](/help/docs/agency-and-agents) is the chapter after you have a company. ## Ask an assistant {#ask-an-assistant} Search without the form. Same public listings as Explore. An assistant that can call a website can look at Cribs the way the public site does. You still open the listing here to message, bid, or book a viewing. ### Same search, different door The assistant sees listed inventory that has a paid [package](/pricing). Drafts and unpaid listings stay off it. Filters match [Filters](/help/docs/filters). If you pick land, rooms are not a filter, same as on the site. A result includes a link. Open that on Cribs. See [Open a listing](/help/docs/a-listing). This is not a second marketplace. Market averages are the same idea as [Market prices](/help/docs/market-prices). Public agent and agency pages are the same as [Agents and agencies](/help/docs/agents-and-agencies). ### Limits | Heart, message, bid, viewing | Those stay on the listing page. | | Phone and email | Not through the assistant. Same as the listing itself. | | Notes, owners, drafts | Private. | No Cribs account is required for the assistant to look. Your Cribs account is still required for Liked and messages. ### How the site works Give an assistant this file so it can learn the product. Same origin as the site you are on. No API key. | Link | [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) | | Serves | The English user manual as one markdown file: every chapter, in catalog order. | ### Adding Cribs The connector address is the site you are on, with `/mcp` after it. No key. No sign-in. Assistants that speak remote MCP over HTTP take that URL in their own connector settings. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and others each have a screen for that. > Note: `/mcp` is not a page you browse. If the tab looks empty or shows an error, that is expected. > Careful: Connector screens live in the assistant, not on Cribs. If you cannot find them, that product's help is the source, not this manual. # Buying Interest, auctions, viewings, and what happens after a buyer is recorded ## How buying works {#buying} You record interest, bid, or buy out on Cribs. The purchase money does not go through this site. ![Buying a property](buying) 1. **Interest** On a live fixed-price listing, tells the seller you want this one. You stay on the listing and the button becomes Interest sent. The seller sees the thread in [Messages](/help/docs/messages) at once. You see it there when they reply. 2. **Bid** An offer at an amount, on an auction. 3. **Buyout** Ends the auction at the published buyout price. This chapter is the walkthrough. Cribs records who the buyer is. Payment and contracts happen off the site with the seller and whoever finishes the legal work. ### Sale types | Fixed price | An asking price. You can send interest. That is contact, not a purchase. The seller later assigns a recorded buyer. | | Auction | Bids, and optionally a buyout. A bid is a binding offer. | | Soon | The listing is visible. You cannot send interest or bid until the seller switches to fixed price or auction. | Liked (the heart) is your shortlist. The seller is not notified. Watch (the eye) follows price, bids, buyout, and sale type. See [Alerts](/help/docs/notifications). ### Whether you may buy Purchase rules use your profile country, which is not the language you browse in. Some listing countries and types only allow buyers from certain places. You can still open the listing, like it, and send interest on a live fixed-price sale. You cannot bid, buy out, or be assigned as the buyer until the listing country and type allow your profile country. > Note: Bid, buy out, and reserve a viewing all need a verified email and phone. Start those checks in [Settings](/settings), under Contact. ## Auctions {#bids-and-auctions} Live bidding on a listing, including buyout when the seller set one. ![Bids and auctions](bids-and-auctions) 1. **Current bid** The highest amount so far, and how many bids there have been. 2. **Your bid** Must meet the next step. The site refuses a number below it. 3. **Buyout** If the seller set one, paying it ends the auction immediately. A bid is binding. It is an offer to buy at that amount. The highest bid at close wins unless someone uses buyout first. Owners and brokers on the listing cannot bid. ### While it is live The clock is on the listing. The next allowed amount is computed for you. ### Buyout If the listing shows a buyout price, that amount wins at once. It is the price the seller published, not a hint. > Careful: Only bid if you can complete the purchase. The other side is entitled to treat the number as real. ## Viewings {#viewings} Times the seller opened for people to see the property. Signing up is not an offer. ![Viewings](viewings) 1. **Times** Slots the seller opened. Some are open house, some have a cap. 2. **Sign up** Needs a verified email and phone. Sellers set slots from My listings: open house, or a limited number of seats. You need a verified email and phone to reserve a seat. If the slot is full, you are already signed, or it has started, the site says so instead of adding you quietly. > Note: You can still walk away after signing up. Be on time; the slot is finite. ## After a buyer is recorded {#closing} The listing managers choose how the legal work is finished. The buyer does not pick the office. ![Closing a sale](closing) After a buyer is recorded, listing managers get an email: choose a legal partner, use their own legal aid, or finish it themselves. ### A legal partner A listed office that can finish the purchase in the listing country. If managers choose one, that office gets a link to mark the sale complete. ### The seller's own legal aid The seller can use their own lawyer or notary. You work with them off this site. ### The seller finishes it The seller can handle contracts and closing themselves. You will still be contacted to complete the process. Becoming the buyer is recorded on Cribs. Payment and contracts stay off the site. > Careful: Cribs is not the escrow and not the notary. If a message asks you to pay to "release" keys or a contract, stop and [report it](/help/docs/troubleshooting). # Selling Publish a listing, keep it live, and see how it is doing ## Publish a listing {#listing-a-property} The Sell guide saves as you go. The listing reaches search after Pay and publish succeeds. ![Listing a property](listing-a-property) 1. **The guide** Steps, saved as you go. You can leave and come back. 2. **Package** What you pay so this listing is shown. Current packages are on [Pricing](/pricing). 3. **Pay and publish** The listing is not in search until this succeeds. Open [Sell](/sell) or the header action. The guide asks for the place, the facts, the photos, the sale mode, and the package. You do not need an agent. If a broker should manage the listing, add them under Sale. ### Sale modes | Fixed price | An asking price. Buyers can send interest. | | Auction | Bids, and optionally a buyout. Allowed when the listing's package includes auctions. See [Pricing](/pricing). | | Soon | Announced, not yet open. | > Note: If payment does not finish, the guide stays open so you can retry Pay and publish. Nothing is in search until it succeeds. After it is live, change price, text, photos, and sale type from [My listings](/me/listings). ## Photos {#photos} All photos play as a slideshow on the card in search and on the listing page. ![Photos](photos) 1. **The set** Every attached photo is in that slideshow. Each one should show the home clearly. 2. **Order** The first photo is where the slideshow starts. Show interiors if there are any, the exterior, and the plot or street. A floor plan or site plan as a public file helps buyers read the layout. The package caps how many photos and documents you can attach. A higher package allows more. You can replace photos after publishing; you cannot go over the cap without changing package. > Tip: Daylight, a straight doorway, and a window in the frame beat a dark corner. Buyers swipe the card. ## My listings {#managing-listings} Live, draft, and ended listings in one place. Edit, add viewings, or take one down. ![Managing your listings](managing-listings) 1. **Live** In search. Edit, schedule viewings, or end it. 2. **Draft** Saved, not published. Payment has not succeeded, or you have not reached Pay and publish. 3. **Ended** Sold, withdrawn, or the package ran out. Open [My listings](/me/listings). From a listing you can edit, read [listing stats](/help/docs/statistics), set viewings, or take it off the market. If a listing is not moving, try clearer photos, a clearer price, or a viewing slot. Those edits do not need a new package. Changing how high it sits in search does. ## Listing stats {#statistics} Views on each listing you manage. ![Statistics](statistics) 1. **Totals** Today, this week, this month, this year, with trend against the average. 2. **Where and who** Countries, and signed-in versus anonymous visitors. 3. **By hour** When views happen. Open Statistics from [My listings](/me/listings). You also see a view count on each managed listing. Stats count views: how often the listing was opened. They do not count how often it appeared in search, and they do not count how many people wrote. Every package includes stats. They are for managers of the listing, not for the public. ## Packages {#packages} A package is what you pay to publish one listing. Names and prices are on Pricing. ![Packages](packages) 1. **What it is** A package belongs to one listing, not to the whole account. 2. **What it changes** How long the listing stays up, media limits, search rank, and whether an auction is allowed. 3. **Current packages** Names and prices live on [Pricing](/pricing). They can change. Looking stays free. You pay so that one listing is shown. It is not a subscription for the rest of Cribs. Open [Pricing](/pricing) for the packages on offer now: names, prices, media limits, and whether an auction is included. Each listing can have a different package. A later change follows whatever [Pricing](/pricing) shows at that time. > Note: Looking stays free. You only pay so that one listing is shown. ## Paying for a listing {#payments} You pay when you publish, for that listing's package. Failed charges leave it as a draft. ![Payments](payments) 1. **Pay and publish** Card charge for the package. Success puts the listing in search. 2. **Transactions** Invoices and receipts, when they are available, under [Transactions](/me/transactions) in the account menu. If the charge fails, try again from the guide. Nothing has gone live. If a later renewal fails, the listing can leave search when the term ends. That is the package running out, not a second fee for looking. > Careful: Nobody from Cribs will ask you to pay in a chat to keep a listing up. If a message does, it is not us. [Something went wrong](/help/docs/troubleshooting) is the report path. ## Agencies {#agency-and-agents} Owners can list on their own. An agency is for several people publishing under one company. ![Agency and agents](agency-and-agents) 1. **Company** Name, logo, people who list under it. 2. **Promote** The form that asks support to make you an agent. [Promote me to agent](/become-agent) sends a request. Support reviews it. After that, [My company](/me/company) is where you add people and look after the firm. Brokers assigned to a listing manage it and the auction. Owners can still unassign brokers. # Reference Calculators, notifications, legal pages, and fixes ## Calculators and extras {#tools} Installment estimates and embeds around a listing. ![Tools](tools) 1. **Installment plan** An estimate from price, rate, and term. Not a lender's offer. 2. **Embed** A listing, agent, or company card you can put on another site. The installment calculator lives on a listing (Calculate installment plan). There is also a calculator on the signed-in Buying a property page. Neither is a lender's offer. Actual terms depend on the lender, your credit, and local rules. Cribs is not a bank. Embed lets you put a Cribs listing, agent, or company on another page. Use Embed on that page, or paste a listing, agent, or company URL into the [embed lab](/embed). Legal partners at closing are separate. See [After a buyer is recorded](/help/docs/closing). ## Notifications {#notifications} The header bell, and watching a listing. ![Notifications](notifications) 1. **The bell** Unread notifications for this account. Opening the menu marks them read. Hide one, or clear all. Read items leave the list after about a week. 2. **Watch** On a listing, the eye follows price, bids, buyout, and sale type changes. Sign-in codes still arrive by email. Those are how the account works, not optional notifications. ## Privacy {#security-and-privacy} How to export your data, close the account, or send a request. ![Security and privacy](security-and-privacy) 1. **Download** A copy of your data from the privacy window. 2. **Close account** Hides your name, email, phone, and photo. You must withdraw live listings first, and finish live auction bids. Listings and bids stay on the account. Sign in with the same email to come back. 3. **Send a request** Including a request to erase. [Settings](/settings) holds language, currency, and verification. Open the privacy window from there, or go to [Privacy](/me/privacy). The long documents are [Privacy](/privacy), [Security](/security), [Terms](/terms), and [AI](/ai). This chapter is the switches. Those pages are the rules. ## Help and legal {#legal-and-support} The policy pages, tickets, and how to reach a person at Cribs. ### Documents | Terms | Using the site. Open [Terms](/terms). | | Privacy | What we keep, and how to ask. Open [Privacy](/privacy). | | Security | How the product is hardened. Open [Security](/security). | | AI | Where models are used, and where they are not. Open [AI policy](/ai). | ### A person [Submit a ticket](/help) from Support, or call the number on that page on weekdays, 14-16 CET. Signed in, you can follow the thread under [Your tickets](/help/tickets). Signed out, we email a private link. The face button is feedback. It is not a ticket. Use a ticket when you need a reply. ## Common tasks {#how-do-i} Short steps for jobs people do often. ### Find a home in a city Open [Search](/search) and submit, or Search properties in the Properties menu. Then [Explore](/explore-properties). Undo filters if the map looks empty. ### Search from an assistant Add this site plus `/mcp` as a connector. [Ask an assistant](/help/docs/ask-an-assistant) is the chapter. ### Save a listing for later Heart it. Open [Liked](/me/liked). You must be signed in. ### Ask the seller something Send a message from the listing. Do not put a card number in the thread. ### Bid Verify email and phone. Open the listing while the auction is live. Type an amount the site accepts, or use buyout if there is one. A bid is binding. ### Book a viewing Verify email and phone. Sign up on the listing for an open slot. ### List a property Verify email and phone. Sell in the header. Finish the guide, pick a package, pay. Edit later from [My listings](/me/listings). ### Talk to support Read this manual first if the question is how a screen works. Then a ticket or the phone number on [Help](/help). ## Words we use {#glossary} Product words on Cribs, including a few that look like something else. | Agency | A business account. Can have a logo and agents. See [Agencies](/help/docs/agency-and-agents). | | Agent | A person who lists under an agency, named on the listing as the contact. | | Buyout | A price that ends an auction immediately if someone uses it. | | Explore | The map-and-cards view. Same results as search, drawn where they are. | | Interest | On a live fixed-price listing, tells the seller you want this one. You stay on the listing and the button becomes Interest sent. The seller sees the thread in [Messages](/help/docs/messages) at once. You see it there when they reply. Not a purchase. | | Liked | Your shortlist. One tap from a listing or a card. Kept on the account. | | Listing class | The package on a listing. Current names and prices are on [Pricing](/pricing). | | Market | A listing's country. Search uses the place you pick. | | Package | What you pay to publish a listing. Search rank, media limits, auction, and how long it stays up. See [Pricing](/pricing). | | Price per m² | Price divided by area. Computed, not entered. | | Soon | A sale that is announced but not yet open to bids or a fixed price. | | Viewing | A time the seller opened for people to see the property. Signing up is not an offer. | | Views | How often a listing was opened. | | Watch | Follow a listing for price, bid, buyout, and sale type changes. | | Withdrawn | Taken off the market. The page stays; the listing is no longer in search. | ## Something went wrong {#troubleshooting} Reload first, then the steps below, then a ticket if it is still broken. ### The page looks wrong 1. Reload. 2. Sign out and in, if the thing that is wrong belongs to you. 3. Try another browser or another network. 4. Open a ticket with the address of the page and what you expected. ### A code never arrived Wait a minute. Check spam. Confirm the address. Send again. Codes expire; a new one replaces the last. ### Payment did not finish The listing is still a draft. Open the guide and try Pay and publish again. Nothing is live until it succeeds. ### Someone asked you to pay in a message Do not. Cribs does not collect the purchase price, and staff will not ask for a card in chat. Report the listing and open a ticket. Include the listing link. ### How to report On a listing, Report listing. For everything else, [Submit a ticket](/help). Include the link, what happened, and when. # Quick answers Common questions, answered briefly. Open a chapter when you need more. ## Is Cribs free to browse? Yes. Looking is free. An account is an email and a sign-in code. Cribs never charges you to create an account. ## What do I pay when I list? The [package](/pricing) you pick at Pay and publish. Drafts are free to look at. Search rank, media limits, and whether you can run an auction come from the package. See [Pricing](/pricing). ## Can I publish more than one listing? Yes. Each listing has its own package and end date. [My listings](/me/listings) shows live, draft, and ended. ## When does a listing go live? After [Pay and publish](/help/docs/listing-a-property) succeeds. The Sell guide saves as you go. If payment fails, it stays a draft. ## When does a listing leave search? When the package term ends, or you take it down. Current terms are on [Pricing](/pricing). You can edit a live listing at any time. ## Where do I change a live listing? [My listings](/me/listings). Price, text, photos, and sale type can change after publishing. Viewings are set on the listing. ## How do I take a listing down? From My listings, end or withdraw it. Withdrawn listings leave search. [Something went wrong](/help/docs/troubleshooting) covers what buyers still see. ## Where do I search?
